The Wissahickon Middle School Boys A water polo team won the PA State Middle School Water Polo Championships with a 10-9 victory over Wilson in the final at North Penn. Goals in the game were scored by Greg Brocato, Jake Behring, Jeff Beyer and Peter Butler. Wissahickon defeated Cumberland Valley 13-7 and North Penn 15-5 to reach the final.

The Wissahickon Boys B team placed third in the B bracket. After losing to North Allegheny, the Trojans defeated Wilson 12-11 in the third-place game.

The Wissahickon girls played this season with Pennridge and split their games this weekend with excellent play by Julia Salvadore and Lili Xu (Emily Moyer and Jean Gleason were not able to play).
