The Montgomery United U11 Girls Lightning soccer team took first place in the Girls U11 Silver group at the Western Lehigh Fall Fest Oct. 8-9. The Lightning defeated the PASC Fury 5-0 and Massapequa SC Venom 3-1 on Oct. 8. The next day, they tied GCVSA Lightning 1-1 and lost to Northwestern Soccer Girls 00’-01’ Tigers 3-1, but the lone goal gave Montgomery United the tiebreaker for the championship.
