Team Liberty Preliminary Team earns bronze at Reflections Synchro Invitational

On Saturday, Feb. 19, the Team Liberty preliminary team, which practices out of Hatfield Ice and is coach by Courtney Good, captured the bronze medal at the Reflections Synchro Invitational in Hershey.

Team members are Carlie Banchi, Ava Leonard, Lexi Reinold, Mary Pipe, Jessica Liu, Katie Mina, Sofia Lapeire, Carissa Reinold, Lucia Szpanka, Julia Kester, Peyton Gara, Ashlynn Grant, Kristen Dowling, Sarah Stofik, Cassandra Hawks and Victoria Vuong. The team is competing again next month in Rhode Island.

Harleysville Eagles Varsity Cheerleaders first at CB East Cheer Challenge


The Harleysville Eagles varsity cheerleaders took first place at the CB East Cheer Challenge on Feb. 6. The team, a part of the Harleysville Eagles Youth Association Football and Cheer Program and coached by Christine Magro, also took Grand Champion for the second consecutive year at the Plymouth Whitemarsh Cheer Classic on Jan. 8.

Towamencin Thunderbolts win EPYSA Indoor State Cup Division II

The FC Towamencin U11 girls soccer team, The Towamencin Thunderbolts, won the EPYSA Indoor State Cup Division II Championship on Saturday, Jan. 29. This event is the largest indoor tournament of the season with 24 teams. The Thunderbolts started at 9 a.m. with a last-minute loss, but bounced back to win their next two, including a 4-0 victory over the team they lost to in the morning. In the final, the Thunderbolts scored early and earned a 1-0 win to become Indoor State Cup Champions.

FSC U14 second at Frosty's Revenge Tournament

The Field Hockey Sports Club (FSC) U14 team took second place at the Frosty’s Revenge Tournament in Pottstown.

FSC U16 qualifies for National Indoor Tournament



The Field Hockey Sports Club (FSC) U16 team will represent FSC at the National Indoor Tournament in Virginia Beach, Va. after taking second place out of 24 teams at a qualifier in Feasterville on Jan. 16.
