Towamencin Thunderbolts win EPYSA Indoor State Cup Division II
The FC Towamencin U11 girls soccer team, The Towamencin Thunderbolts, won the EPYSA Indoor State Cup Division II Championship on Saturday, Jan. 29. This event is the largest indoor tournament of the season with 24 teams. The Thunderbolts started at 9 a.m. with a last-minute loss, but bounced back to win their next two, including a 4-0 victory over the team they lost to in the morning. In the final, the Thunderbolts scored early and earned a 1-0 win to become Indoor State Cup Champions.
