Note: The following recap was written by TSC U11 Tigers member Maggie Zipfel.

For the second time in three years, the  U11 Tigers  of the  Towemencin Soccer Club  won their division championship.

We won seven of our 10 league games, and scored 31 times, allowing only six goals to be scored against us.  During the summer, we were also successful in a non-league tournament.  The Tigers tied for first place and went undefeated in the Harleysville soccer tournament.

With the help of our coaches, we work hard throughout the entire year to improve and be successful. Our team motto is “We attack as a TEAM,we defend as a TEAM.”

We have fun as a team throughout the year, and we love doing things together outside of playing soccer.  That is what makes us a team.

The U10 Towamencin Bandits won the Kelly Bollish Basketball Tournament on Dec. 30 in Horsham.
Towamencin beat Doylestown in the championship game.

The TSC U14 Select Boys team came in third place in the Roger Erb Tournament on Nov. 27.

The Towamencin Tornados U11B soccer team recently competed in two local weekend Tournaments. The Tornados took first place at West-Mont United’s Battle at Hilltop on Aug. 27 and pictured here after finishing in second place at Warminster’s Al Perlini Tournament on Sept. 3.

The U12 Towamencin Thunder soccer team took second place at the 24th Annual Al Perlini Soccer Tournament. This is the second consecutive year the team came was second at the tournament, which was the first for the Thunder this season.

The Towamencin Titans 12U baseball team won the Cal Ripken District 2 championship, defeating Souderton to earn the top seed in the state tournament.

The Towamencin Titans 9U travel baseball team won the 2011 Cal Ripken Southeast Pennsylvania District 2 Tournament on July 10.

The Towamencin Titans 10U baseball team won the Cal Ripken PA District 2 championship with a 3-2 victory over Central Perk, qualifying the team for the state tournament held in Warrington July 15-20.

The Athletics won the TYA Baseball Majors Division with an 11-8 victory in the championship game. Solid pitching, clutch hitting and all-around team effort were the keys to the win.

The Towamencin Titans 12U travel baseball team won the 12U Towamencin Memorial Day Tournament, which it hosted at Green Lane Park. The tournament featured teams from Unionville, Mt. Pocono, Hatfield, Methacton, Central Perk, Boyertown, Douglassville, Souderton, Whitpain, Abington, Lower Gwynedd and Towamencin.

The Red team won the championship of the TYA Basketball Girls Instructional League

The Towamencin U8 Girls Indoor Select soccer team,  the Tigers, claimed the 2011 BucksMont Indoor Soccer Winter League title after coming back from last place overall and playing three straight games to win the championship tournament.

The Red team claimed the TYA Basketball Boys Instructional League (Ages 7-8) championship with a 32-22 victory in the final on March 16. Joshua Jones and Jack Bechtel were both instrumental in the win.

On March 10, the Blue team won the TYA Basketball Boys Junior Division (Ages 9-10) championship with a 44-35 victory in the final with Owen Bradford named game MVP.
