On March 31, students from Mark Cashatt’s Taekwon-Do School  in Souderton tested and were promoted to their listed ranks.

On March 18, Taekwon-Do students from our area who belong to the United Taekwon-Do Federation competed in Houston, Tex. to qualify to represent USA at the ITF World Championships.

On Feb. 11, the annual Dojang Championships were held.  Pictured are the Black Belt Sparring Champions. There are seven divisions of black belts.

Now throughout the upcoming year, black belts can challenge the champions to battle for the championship belt.

On Jan. 14, students of Mark Cashatt’s Taekwon-Do School, Inc. in Souderton cleaned up their adopted highway Route 113 from Allentown Road to Schoolhouse Road.

On Dec. 12, students from Mark Cashatt’s Taekwon-Do School in Souderton donated a bunch of toys to the Toys for Tots campaign run by the Marine Corps Reserves.

Students from Mark Cashatt’s Taekwon-Do School tested and were promoted Nov. 19.

Students from Mark Cashatt’s Taekwon-Do School, Inc. from Souderton held a Junior Black Belt Night, with the finale being “Smashing Pumpkins!” Each student brought at least one “recycled, carved pumpkin” and proceeded to smash with their Taekwon-Do hand strikes and kicks.

On Saturday, April 24, the United States National Championships was held in Philadelphia. International Taekwon-Do Federation (ITF) students who won first, second or third place qualified to compete in the 2010 ITF World Championships in South Korea July 2-4.

On April 17, students tested for black belt ranks in Taekwon-Do at Mark Cashatt's Taekwon-Do School in Souderton.

Last Saturday, a major Taekwon-Do Tournament was held at Mark Cashatt's Taekwon-Do School, Inc in Souderton. During the opening ceremonies, Master Instructor Mark Cashatt (far right) presented a mock check for the amount ($2,855) raised to help 21-year-old Second-Degree Black Belt Mandy Ellis as she prepares for a kidney transplant. Ellis was not available to accept the check, so in her place was her father, Bill (left), and brother, Erik (middle).
