Isabella DiLisio, age 13, of Hatfield won The Helen Sigel Wilson Invitational Golf Tournament at Philadelphia Country Club.
DiLisio, who shot a 3-over 77 on the par 74 course was tied with Alice Chen of Princeton, NJ after 18 holes.  On the first hole of the sudden-death playoff, DiLisio drove the green on the short 276-yard, par 4 first hole, She calmly sank the 25 foot putt for her second eagle of the day to secure the victory.
The previous weekend, DiLisio won the LPGA Philly Girls Golf tournament, shooting 70 at Horsham Valley Golf Club.
DiLisio, an eighth grader at Gwynedd Mercy Academy, has had a tremendous year playing golf. In addition to several wins on the Philadelphia Junior PGA Tour and the Philly Girls Golf Tour, DiLisio won 2 major local events, the Women's Golf Association of Philadelphia (WGAP) Junior Championship and the Montgomery County Women's Amateur Championship.
DiLisio won other WGAP events and came in second place in many other events. She reached the semifinals of the first flight in the Pennsylvania State Women's Amateur. She was also selected to play for the prestigious Junior Inter City team of Philadelphia against teams from New York and Massachusetts. DiLisio won her matches against both other teams and helped Philadelphia retain the Cup.
