A group of local 12-to-14-year old girls from Lansdale, Perkasie, Quakertown and Bethlehem representing TeamX Sports was one of 24 teams competing at the 2012 NFL Flag National Championship on Jan. 14. In the playoffs, The team — representing the Baltimore Ravens and making its fourth-straight trip to the event — was knocked out in a close game to a Youngstown, Ohio side 13-7.

A group of local 12-to-14-year old boys from Lansdale representing TeamX Sports was one of 24 teams competing at the 2012 NFL Flag National Championship on Jan. 14. After a long day of competition, the team — representing the New York Jets — fell in the semifinals to MoSteel of Miami, Fla. TeamX finished the event in third place.
